Martha G. Hege, 91, of 19412 Reidtown Road. Hagerstown, Md., died at 1:40 a.m. Sunday. Nov. 20, 1994, at home.
Born July 9, 1903, near Reid, Md., she was a daughter of the late Adam B. and Nettie S. Grove Eshleman.
She was a member of Reiff Mennonite Church, near Cearfoss, Md.
Her husband, Ira E. Hege, died March 11, 1988.
Surviving are seven daughters, Iva E. Weber and Grace E. Miller, both of Smithsburg, Md., Cora E. Eby of Flintstone, Md., Ada E. Petre of Sparta, Tenn., Edna E. Martin of Hagerstown, Martha E. at home and Ella E. Diller of Waynesboro; two sons, Aldus E. of Greencastle and Ira J. Jr., of Hagerstown; 54 grandchildren; 243 great grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ida G. Horst of Hesston, Kan.; and a brother, Harold G. Eshleman of Parkview, Va.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Reiff Mennonite Church near Cearfoss. Bishops Reuben Martin, Darrel Martin, and ministers Carl Miller and Richard Weber will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the church and one hour prior to the service Wednesday.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
